Lake Okeechobee been showing off a bit for me over the last few days and the action today was awesome. The bass are starting to look for the spawning areas and the big fish are staging up good. I fished today with my friend Doug practicing for a small tournament this week-end and it was a day to remember.( not a guide trip) My best five bass weighed a total of 33.4 lbs (10.00 - 9.3 - 8.1 - 3.00 - 3.00)and we never stayed in one area very long. My camera was acting up very badly and I was only able to take a picture of two of the big ones with Doug holding them....no pic of the 10.0 lb fish...Sorry

Lures...SPRO - Aruka Shad - Gold

Also one of my guides had 5 bass that weighed 46.15 (10.4 - 9.10 - 9.1- 9.00 - 9.00) on shiners (live bait) Monday. I will post the pic ASAP. NOT A TYPICAL DAY!
