Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Reports

Cold.....Cold...........Well probably not as cold as the rest of the country...We have had 2 cold fronts that have brought the water temps down in the 50's and that is pretty cold for Lake Okeechobee. But more importantly the wind blew pretty hard and muddy up some good water so the fishing had been off a little over the last week.....
We have been having warm weather today and is forecast to get better every day for the rest of the week. Look out...the fish are going to bite real good. There was a customer today that caught and released a 8.5 lbs caught on a wild shiner caught some other nice fish today on rattle traps.

Rattle traps and slow rolling a spinner bait around hydrilla has been producing well and the fish are also starting to relate to some of the grass mats (FUN)....Big rods and braided line.
